Improving Access to Healthcare: A Collaborative Design Challenge The Fischell Department of Bioengineering's DEI committee is working with the School of Public Policy to host a 4-hour problem-solving event over Zoom with the central topic of improving access to healthcare. The main goal for the event is to create an informal space for University of Maryland students to collaborate across disciplines, connect with faculty, and learn about important issues. The event will begin with keynote speeches from experts in medicine and public health to frame the issue. Next students will break out into teams and dialogue with faculty members to develop multifaceted approaches for improving access to healthcare, ultimately briefing a panel of judges on their recommendations for a chance to win a prize. Advanced registration is required. Event flyer - features more information, including featured keynote speakers This Event is For: Campus • Graduate • Undergraduate • Faculty • Staff • Post-Docs |
