Virtual Town Hall Highlights Preparation for Phased Relaunch of Campus Research Activities
Vice President for Research Laurie Locascio hosted a virtual Town Hall for the University of Maryland community on May 21, 2020, to share preliminary information from a report being developed by the COVID-19 Research Advisory Task Force on preparing for a phased re-launch of on-campus research activities. The University of Maryland currently remains under Severe Research Restriction until June 1.
Vice President for Administration and Finance Carlo Colella, and Dean of the School of Public Health Boris Lushniak also participated in the virtual Town Hall event as panelists, addressing health and facilities safety. Over 800 attendees participated in the webinar.
