Vice President for Research Dr. Laurie Locascio will host a virtual Town Hall to discuss the planning and preparation for restarting research activities at the University of Maryland. The COVID-19 Research Advisory Task Force is in the process of developing a report that will be used to guide decision-making by university leadership to begin preparations for resuming campus research activities in calendar year 2020 and beyond. Topics to be covered include plans to phase in on-campus research activities, building and laboratory preparation required to ready ourselves for reopening, and guidance that will be put into place to prioritize safety. To register in advance for this meeting, attendees must have a valid, licensed UMD Zoom account.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. Questions can be submitted during the town hall or emailed in advance to your Associate Dean for Research who will send them to the Division of Research.
