Participating in a Pandemic: Ensuring Safe Voting Join the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, participating BIG10 universities and leading public health and elections experts for a collaborative special speaker series that will discuss safe, fair and full election participation. The first in the series is Participating in a Pandemic: Ensuring Safe Voting. Hosted by Dr. David Mussington, professor of the practice, director of the Center for Public Policy and Private Enterprise and an internationally known expert on critical infrastructure cybersecurity, the panel will focus on the actions that should be taken to provide a safe voting experience across the modalities available, including mail-in, early and day-of voting. The discussion will draw upon public health and election administration expertise to inform a set of principles for ensuring as safe a set of election conditions as is possible.
