Famous Tech Deals in History: Lessons for Today

With every creation and idea there is the ultimate need to leverage it for some gain. Whether an idea, patent, copyright, trademark, trade secret or know how, famous and infamous people in history have made deals to exploit their creations, some good, some bad. In this webinar, we shall look at several such deals in their historical setting and circumstances, and analyze what happened. Hopefully, through the review of these pasts, we are not condemned to repeat the failures. In later webinars, we will examine other deals in history.

What you will learn:
-How to better leverage your IP and other assets through historical example.
-An understanding that mistakes can and will happen
-How to spot an advance and seize upon it.
-Realize that you can be smarter than many prior entrepreneurs

Presenter: Raymond Van Dyke, Van Dyke Intellectual Property Law
